Palayan City gov’t allots land for TESDA

 PALAYAN CITY, Nueva Ecija, Nov 19 (PIA) — The Palayan City Council has passed a resolution which allots a 4,000 square meter local government property for the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). 
Resolution No.58 of the Sangguniang Panlungsod indicated that “a donation of a lot in barangay Singalat to TESDA will better address the needed development skills assistance of the people in the province especially Palayanos.”

TESDA Regional Director Teodoro Gatchalian expressed gratitude with this undertaking saying “ it proves once again that our agency is on the right track in implementing sound and relevant technical vocational projects and is gaining headway in promoting programs and services.”

Gatchalian bared that a portion of the lot will be used for the expansion of training facilities in Nueva Ecija which is considered one of the 12 technology institutions of the agency in Region 3.

For her part, TESDA Provincial Director Liza Amponin said “This recent development and public-private partnership boosts our drive to improve more of our services in skill development of the labor, and technical education, which, in return will benefit the Novo Ecijanos.” (CLJD/JGB-PIA 3)
